frogblue biedt slimme gebouwoplossingen op basis van zijn eigen frogblue Bluetooth®-meshnetwerk, die 100 procent Made in Germany zijn met de hoogste kwaliteitsstandaard. Het systeem is gebaseerd op intelligente besturingsmodules, de frogs, die rechtstreeks worden geïnstalleerd in inbouwdozen achter de lichtschakelaar, het lichtpunt, de verdeeldoos of het verlaagde plafond. De modulaire oplossing is snel geïnstalleerd, kan op elk moment worden uitgebreid en is energiezuinig. Er is geen bekabeling nodig en evenmin IT-installaties, schakelkasten of centrale stations. frogblue is geschikt voor zowel renovatie als nieuwbouw, van een enkel appartement tot kantoorgebouwen. Het in Kaiserslautern gevestigde bedrijf is VDE-gecertificeerd en lid van de ZVEI, de ZVEH, het economische initiatief Smart Living en het SmartHome Initiative Germany, evenals van de Duitse Design Raad. Dr. Ralf Hinkel
Born in Mainz, Ralf Hinkel studied informatics and electrical engineering at TU Kaiserslautern. In 1989 he graduated with the topic autonomous mobile robots for cleaning technology. Founded in Kaiserslautern by Dr. Hinkel, the QUADRIGA Ltd. developed the arising laser-diode automatic level laser for Bosch, Würth, Stanley and Dewalt. In 1999 he founded the listed company MOBOTIX AG and, as technology leader, developed IP Cameras and Software for Video-Security-Solutions with about 400 employees and global export. Today Ralf Hinkel is founder and CEO of frogblue and is in charge of the company strategy and product development.
René Hinkel
René Hinkel completed the dual education system in electrical engineering. The topic of his bachelors degree about dimmer electronics laid the foundation for his future direction. Born in Kaiserslautern, he founded the technology company Abionix GmbH together with his father in 2014, which later transitioned into the frogblue TECHNOLOGY GmbH. At frogblue he is in charge of development and production. As the brain behind the frogs he still oversees every layout and certification. His multi-channel dimmer got patented. René Hinkel works side by side with his father on new innovative solutions for house- and building-automation. His focus lies on high quality and reliability as well as easy installation and handling.
